MIM conducts research on different aspects of the media sphere, mainly related to professional and ethical reporting, transparent media ownership, media diversity, media reporting during elections, working conditions in media, functioning of the public broadcast service, situation with the online media etc.
In recent years, the Institute has initiated a dozen media studies, which were conducted by local experts / researchers:
